On the morning of July 18, the expert team of China Cardiovascular Health Alliance went to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University to conduct on-site certification of the "Cardiovascular Care and Technical Training Base". The certification expert group is composed of Professor Jing Limin, Professor Wang Haijiang, and Professor Hu Xin from China Cardiovascular Union. Xiao Qiang, Deputy Secretary of econd Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University led a team to welcome the inspection. There were more than 40 directors and head nurses attend the meeting.
Deputy Secretary Xiao Qiang, on behalf of the hospital, welcomed the certification expert group. He said that the hospital, as an affiliated hospital of the university, has undertaken nursing teaching for nearly 30 years and has a good foundation for nursing teaching. Promoting the construction of cardiovascular nursing and technical training bases is of great significance to the development of nursing and cardiovascular specialties in our hospital. This on-site inspection is not only a review of the construction of our hospital's cardiovascular nursing and technical training base, but also a precious opportunity for learning and improvement. The experts will provide valuable guidance on the development of cardiovascular care and technical training in our hospital. Promoting reform by evaluation, and continuously improve the level of hospital care. Before the verification, Professor Jing Limin, the leader of the expert group, introduced the purpose and future development of the on-site verification of the cardiovascular care and technical training base. She said that cardiovascular care and technical training is a long-term task, which aims to improve the theoretical knowledge and clinical practice capabilities of specialist nurses through standardized training management procedures and standardized training system construction.
Director Yang Zhaoxia of the Nursing Department gave a report on the basic situation of the hospital and the construction of the cardiovascular care and technical training base, and gave a detailed introduction to the experts from the base operation, system construction, and teaching staff. After listening to the report, the expert team conducted on-site verification of relevant documents and nursing training data required by the standards for the construction of cardiovascular care and technical training bases. In-depth and detailed inspections were carried out on the cardiac catheterization laboratory, CCU ward, cardiology ward, cardiac rehabilitation room, and clinical skills center through the forms of reviewing information, on-site checks, and random questioning. After the verification, the expert group fully affirmed the ability in nursing teaching and training of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University, as well as the achievements made in the construction of cardiovascular care and technical training bases. At the same time, the expert group also put forward reasonable suggestions and opinions.
Finally, Deputy Secretary Xiao Qiang pointed out that the expert team’s supervision and inspection of the construction of cardiovascular care and technical training bases is both a challenge and an opportunity for our hospital. We will definitely listen to the opinions and suggestions put forward by experts and clarify the construction and development direction of the hospital's cardiovascular care, further improve the hospital's nursing service level and service quality, and promote the high-quality development of the hospital.
